Some Saturdays I wake up ready to go. I charge down to my kitchen and make coffee, bacon & waffles or some such. Other Saturdays I wake up...barely. I make coffee. The kids know how to grab a muffin or waffles from the freezer and microwave them for a few seconds (like, 15-30 seconds) until warm. Then they have whole-milk yogurt (from a local farm, sweetened with local maple syrup) or I may quickly scramble some eggs.
This is that latter morning. After tossing and turning much of the night I just couldn't wake up enough to think about breakfast. I know other Moms out there feel my pain.
